Corrodia
CONTROLLER STRONGLY RECOMMENDED (Windows Version)
FULL SCREEN FOR BEST EXPERIENCE (Blue button with white arrows on bottom right of game window)
Katty's on a mission to take over Corrodia! Corrupt the world, collect the poison soda, and work your way to the heart. A 3D Platformer made in Unity for Shroomjam.
Uses the theme of 'corruptions' in the following manner: I made a voxel based level and gave the player mechanics that irreversibly edit the game world; this creates the appearance of eg a tilemap being corrupted in an NES game, but in 3D and in the form of reliable and predictable video game mechanics. Randomized textures and noise collages for each corruption enhance the feeling.
Made possible with bloed by Rat King. Honestly shouts out to Rat King, I did not expect the tool to be able to do shit like this so well. I also used my own generic game management/character control/ui code as a jumping off point, and some sound effects from my personal stock. All music, models, textures, designs, the game concept and most of the sounds, were created during the week of the jam.
11/15- Updated windows build to version 1.2; lowered mouse sensitivity and fixed a bug which caused the camera to jerk upwards after firing a bullet. Web version 1.4 fixes same issues as new windows update, plus the memory bug which causes the web player to crash

I know it's meant to be played with a controller but good lord the mouse sensitivity is upsetting
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah def too high, we went ahead and adjusted it, let us know how it is, thank you again.
On the web player I got a memory out of bounds error that locked the game up pressing rb a bunch of times trying to make a bridge across the second room. It looked neat though, will try the download version
same
We have uploaded a fixed version, thank you for letting us know!
Thanks for letting us know, we were able to replicate this and have updated it so it no longer happens. It was specific to just the web player version.
